Job Description:
CIO Business Transformation and Information Technology is a cross- functional organization acting as an IT partner to various IBMs Business in creating a single Enterprise Integration and Governance Model, while accelerating the delivery of business value, improving service quality, simplifying BT/ IT processes and delivering operational efficiency. Roles and Responsibilities: The Java Developer will be required to do creative development in DOJO/ JQuery, AJAX or Java based on requirements. The candidate should be able to handle both User Interface ( JSPs, struts, AJAX) and Backend Java Services. The job holder should be able to understand existing pattern/ architecture in existing project and work with minimal supervision but at the same time be a good team player. Creates user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces. Prerequisites: Graduate in IT with 4 to 5 years of work experience. Skills Required: JDK 1.5 or higher Struts 1.3/ 2.0 framework [or Spring MVC] DOJO 1.6 or higher or JQuery and JavaScript Spring IOC/ DI, Spring AOP, Spring DAO Consuming and Producing Web services in a distributed environment using JAX RPC/ JAX WS [or REST] Unix/ Linux/ AIX commands Websphere Application Server or any Application Server Agile methodology (SCRUM) Good Communication skill Preferred: ORM Frameworks like Hibernate or iBatis Junits/ Easy Mock or JMock Log4J Knowledge about Rational Software Architect or Eclipse. Understand UML diagrams and possible design them if needed
