Position Summary:
Develop and support infrastructure and operations for product validation of PowerArtist, the state-of-the-art RTL and Gate level power analysis and reduction tool, as part of R&D to customer product delivery process.
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:
• Innovate process and automation to prevent and detect product defects
• Implement efficient mechanisms for code quality checks
• Improve test coverage and maintain daily regressions and goldens for version-to-version QoR
• Identify code checkins that are causing regression failures and follow-up with R&D
• Validate product features (e.g. QoR of RTL vs. Gate level power calculation)
• Support timely delivery of product release milestones
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• 0-3 years of commercial experience in Unix/Linux
• Excellent problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to quickly ramp-up in diverse product validation infrastructure and script-base
• B.Tech. M Tech. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related area
Other Information:
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. csh, perl) is strong plus
• Experience with CVS and Make is strong plus
• Experience with Unix utilities is strong plus
• Experience with code development utilities (e.g. gcc, gdb, valgrind, gprof, cscope …) is preferred
• Experience with EDA domain and tools is preferred
• Understanding of RTL/Gate power analysis data flow is a plus
