Job Description:

• Responsible for activity planning, execution and closing of assigned activities. 

• Continuously manages the expectations of internal and external customers. 

• Ensure all hardware design processes are followed for complete product development life cycle on every design. 

• Performs product design, testing, preparation of specification etc. 

• Works with customers Internal and external to define acceptable quality levels based on recognized quality standards. 

• Ensure quality levels are met through tools such as Six Sigma, DFSS etc 

• Prepare schematics, performs layout design and all other related engineering activities 

Candidate Qualification:

• Total relevant work experience: 1 to 3 years. 

• Excellent understanding of electronics fundamentals for analog, digital and power electronics circuits. 

• Sound knowledge of electrical & electronic components – Surface Mount & through Hole. 

• Experience in Embedded Hardware design, development & testing in electrical/ industrial domain. 

• Experience in OrCAD (Capture, Layout/Allegro PCB editor, Gerber view tools) / PADS / Altium or equivalent Capture and layout packages. 

• Understanding on Digital Communication protocols 

• Hands on experience on circuit simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, etc. 

• knowledge on PCB manufacturing process (DFM, DFT) and validation of gerbers using CAM350/Gerb tool 

• Strong analytical skills. 

• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. 

Desired: 

• Awareness on EMI/EMC & Environmental standards – UL / IEC/ SAE / ISO. 

• Awareness on PCB design guidelines for EMI / EMC aspects.
